Digital Signatures

All Cactus League Games installation files that you download from our web site are "digitally signed." This allows you to be certain that you have downloaded and are installing an Official Cactus League Installation file.

Here is how you can tell if you have an Official Cactus League Installation File:

After downloading the file, right-click on its name and select "Properties." A dialog similar to the following will be displayed. The name and dates may be different, depending upon what you are downloading and installing. This is what you will see when you download Cactus League Professional Basketball Version 2007. Click the thumbnails for larger images: Click on the "Digital Signatures" tab and you will see this: Under "Name of signer:" Cactus League Games Inc. will be displayed. If you do not see Cactus League Games Inc. on this dialog, then you do not have an Official Cactus League Games Installation file. You should not install it and you should notify us immediately at support@cactusleaguegames.com. Whenever you install any program, you should be wary if the installation file is not digitally signed by the company making the program. Without a digital signature you cannot be sure what is in the file. Click the "Details" button in the dialog and the following will be displayed: Once again, Cactus League Games Inc. should be displayed. If it is not, notify us immediately. Click "Certificate" and the Certificate Information is displayed, along with a description of the purpose of the certificate:
