How To Install A Team Disk By Copying The Files From
An Original Cactus League Team Disk To Your Hard Disk

Cactus League Professional Basketball for Windows

Some 3 1/2" disk drives on new computers are unable to consistently read DS/DD 3 1/2" diskettes, making it sometimes difficult to install an Original Cactus League Team Disk.

Here is how to create a ZIP file on your hard disk. Once a ZIP file is created, you can easily install the season using the Team Disk Installation Module.

  • Create a new subdirectory (sometimes referred to as folders) on your hard disk. (For instructions, refer to your Windows Help file; Topic: folders, creating)

  • Copy the files from your original Cactus League Pro Basketball 3 1/2" Team Disk to this new subdirectory. (For instructions, refer to your Windows Help file; Topic: folders, copying)

  • Using a ZIP archiving program, such as WinZip, add all of the files in your new subdirectory to a ZIP file. (For instructions, refer to your Zip Program Help file; Topic: adding files to an archive)

Once you have created a ZIP file with all files that are included on an Official Cactus League Pro Basketball Team Disk, you can install it by following these instructions:

  • Start the Cactus League Professional Basketball For Windows Team Disk Installation Module.

  • Click 'Zip' and select the Zip file that you created above.

  • Then, click 'Install' and follow the instructions.
