We created our first college basketball game back in 1993, which, in computer years, is a very long time ago. Cactus League College Basketball has been highly acclaimed and has been played by thousands of college basketball fans over the years.

Now, Cactus League College Basketball For Windows Version 2010 is available. Our latest effort takes the basic building blocks of the game and expands on them to make playing and coaching college basketball even more realistic and fun.

Cactus League College Basketball For Windows, like the other Cactus League games, is designed to be a very detailed, powerful simulation of the sport, offering realistic coaching challenges and results, along with the ability to customize the game in an almost limitless number of ways to make it truly your game.

What is included in Cactus League College Basketball For Windows?

The complete Cactus League College Basketball For Windows game includes all of the modules below, along with the 2009-10 Season Tournament & Conference Teams. Each recent Cactus League College Basketball season includes the actual tournament teams and seedings for each conference and The Big Dance that can be played with the Tournament Module. You also get complete Division I schedules and all documented players rated for accurate offensive and defensive performance. Plus, you get the available conferences, teams and players from each season.

Every aspect of every module in the game is highly configurable so you can customize it nearly any way you want. Plus, you have the ability to make every in-game coaching decision that a real-life coach has to make. Coaching can be rewarding and frustrating. Which seasons are available to play with the game?

We have every season from 1990-91 to the present. The most recently completed season is included with the complete game. Each Cactus League College Basketball season includes the actual tournament teams and seedings, along with all available conferences, all conference schedules and all documented players rated for accurate offensive and defensive performance.

Also, you can play with the great college basketball teams and players of all-time with the Final Four Trilogy and The ACC - The Great 80's.

Additionally, each March, Cactus League College Basketball Tournament Real-Time is released. This allows you to play and coach the tournament BEFORE, DURING and AFTER the tournament, with the actual teams and players who are participating.

Will the Cactus League College Basketball Team Disks that I already own work with Cactus League College Basketball for Windows?

Yes. All existing Cactus League College Basketball Team Disks will work great with the Windows version of the game. If a Cactus League College Basketball disk has a label that says "Cactus League" on it, it will work with Cactus League College Basketball For Windows. Plus you can easily install all official Cactus League College Basketball ZIP files such as the ones you receive when you have your seasons sent to you via e-mail delivery. The Season Installation Module installs them automatically. You don't even have to unzip the file.

Will Cactus League College Basketball Tournament Real-Time work with Cactus League College Basketball for Windows?

Yes. You can play the Tournament BEFORE, DURING and AFTER the tournament.

What are the minimum system requirements for Cactus League College Basketball For Windows Version 2010?

PC with a Pentium 100 megahertz (MHz) or higher processor
Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Vista 32-bit or 64-bit, or Windows 7 operating system
128 MB of free RAM (256 Mb recommended) (Microsoft recommends at least 256 MB to run Windows XP and at least 512 MB to run Vista)

Replay statistics that accumulate from games you play require additional space, depending upon the save options that you use. If you order "Download Only" you are encouraged to save the downloaded file on your computer. Once the version of the game you downloaded is no longer the current version, it will not be available for download, although you can still apply for and receive Registration Codes for approximately one year after it is no longer the current version. If you order the CD, you don't have to be concerned about registration codes.

Will I receive a Registration Code?

The first time you play the game, after downloading and installing it, instructions will be displayed so you can obtain your Registration Code. It is an easy procedure that should take you only 1-2 minutes. Registration Codes are necessary for the downloaded version only. The Game CD does not require them.

Do I need a Registration Code for every computer I will be playing the game on?

Yes. Each customer can apply for, and receive, up to 2 Registration Codes. A fee will be charged for additional codes. Registration Codes are necessary for the downloaded version only. They are not needed if you have the CD. You can install from the CD onto all of your computers. We recommend that you order the CD for maximum flexibility. Registration Codes will be available for each version for approximately two years after the version's release.

Do I need a Registration Code for AutoEdit, AutoMerge and The Tournament Computer?

Yes. Registration codes for Cactus League College Basketball add-ons work in the same manner as the complete game. We recommend that you order the add-on CDs for maximum flexibility. Registration Codes for add-ons will be available for approximately 5 years after your purchase.

What happens if I have a hard disk crash or get a new computer? Will I need to get a new Registration Code?

Yes, but you can eliminate that potential problem by ordering the product CD. The CD does not require a Registration Code, so, if you have a computer failure or get a new system, you can simply install from the CD onto your new computer and you'll be in business!

If you order 'Download Only' you can request the game's download link again within 120 days of your purchase (a fee may be charged), unless a new version has been released. Once the version you purchase is no longer the current version, registration codes, download links and CDs will no longer be available.

I don't want to deal with Registration Codes. What can I do?

Order the Game and/or AutoEdit, AutoMerge or Tournament Computer CD. The CDs do not require Registration Codes. You can install directly from the CD onto all of your computers. Plus, you don't have to worry about downloading again if you have a hard disk, other system failure or get a new system. You can just reinstall from the CD after you fix your hardware problem or get a new computer.

How do I get my 2nd Registration Code?

Just download the installation file and install it on your 2nd computer. The first time you play the game you will be prompted to apply for the Registration Code, just like when you played the game the first time on your first computer. You'll receive your Registration Code via e-mail.
