Cactus League Interactive Baseball for Windows Frequently Asked Questions |
| I just downloaded and installed the demo, but when I start the game a message is displayed saying "The demo has expired." Why? |
| You must have installed the demo on your computer
previously or downloaded an outdated demo from another web site. If you have downloaded
from another site, be sure to download and install the latest evaluation version from this
site before requesting an extension. We apologize for this inconvenience. But, we have no
control over other sites and the files they offer, even though we supply them with
specific instructions to insure current files. We'd be happy to extend your evaluation period one time. E-mail your Product Serial Number and User Serial Number along with your name, address and phone numbers to webmaster@cactusdevelopment.com and we'll send you a code to extend your time. You'll find your Product Serial Number and User Serial Number on the screen that is displayed immediately after the "demo has expired" message. |

| Yes. Any BMP file can be used, even pictures from other games or ones you've taken yourself. For complete, detailed instructions refer to the article in our KnowledgeBase. |
| How long does it take to play a game? |
| Many factors have an effect on the speed of computer programs, including microprocessor clock speed, amount of memory, amount of free disk space, operating system and other programs running concurrently. In speed tests that we have run with a Genuine Intel Pentium IITM 350 megahertz processor with Intel MMX TechnologyTM, 128 Mb random access memory and several hundred megabytes of free disk space using Windows 98, you can play an average game (in non-debug mode) in approximately 30 seconds. All systems are different and your time may vary. Generally, the faster the processor, the more memory and the more free disk space, the faster any program will run. |
